For those who play or have played Realms of Kaos, you probably know about knapsacks.
I think that knapsacks would be a very useful for especially for clerics. In RoK, knaps hold items to make room in your inventory. Maybe this has been brought up by other RoK players; maybe it isn't possible; but i think it would be a great idea for players.

ok I see a few problems with the idea lets start with when you could drop a knapsack like anyother items unless you make it like a "Hold" or a "Belt" item cause if you didn't it would be like loseing more stuff then you need.  A thing that would sort of have to be is if you made it a "Belt" Equip is that when you die it says  "Your knapsack opened up when you fell to the floor dropping (item name(S))"  and another thing is why would people want one if theres a chance of sumthing fallin out its bad enough you lose almost a full invintory of mana/pots when you die why lose more unless you know where your going your not gonna get pked so theres the kinks in this idea

in RoK you dont drop your knaps and the things dont fall out, so if you had something special, say a vampire blood potion and you didnt want to drop it, you put it in your knap. Maybe it could be like a knap you equip, and you can put a certain number of thing in, say, 7 items, (half an inventory) weapons cannot go in  and neither can armor
Maybe it wont work in Nightmist, but it seems like a good idea, knaps arent supposed to drop in RoK because they're meant to hold things like keys, scrolls and other items which you may need if you are travelling.  
Personally I thin it is a good idea, of course it has kinks but doesnt every idea when its forming?  
There must be a way to program the game so that knaps dont drop, because in RoK they dont.
I know this isnt RoK. Please dont tell me.
I just die so often that the idea came to me that if I had a knap, I wouldnt have to run back with my cleric that I'm training to buy more mana, because I'd have more in a knap.

and i say maybe like 3 max knaps in an inven which all can hold 5 items (makes a total of 15 items + 11 in regular inven) and i think they should be able to drop. makes it more interesting. some ppl  wouldn't use em cuz chance of losing many items is bigger then withouth others might need the mana so they use it (could be nice when you got to bosses)

think of your inventory has 1 big knapsack
if more knapsacks were added, it would make levelling easier, also events like triplex/mosh would be won by people with them and who can afford to fill them all up with pots/mana

You must not have fully read what I wrote.
Any how, I understand the view on not having knaps. It was a suggestion, and since JLH put up a reply that made sense, then OK. I was just giving an idea. thats why the board is open to all members.
As I already said, and quoted myself saying: I know its not RoK, i'm just taking a good idea that RoK's creator had because I thought it would improve the game.
I dont think it would change the game much and thats why I suggested it.

its a good idea its just a pain in the arse to get things added that make the game easyer becuse there has to be a balance and that makes it espcialy hard for the new ppl and people not in clans becuse they don't have alot but I belive JLH is gona gona add some sort of acount invatory system wich should help every one out if it gets put in Huh

Why make lvling easier?  I think pacifists should remain the only thing that can stay out of town training for practically forever...(really forever if you go 2nd floor zuem)...for cleric training i usually have to take 5 thieves full of mana with..that helps...
