Title: noob here... whats good first cleric crit? Post by jipped on 01/20/04 at 02:30:48 what race should a cleric be for best? some one said a human xx xx 19 19 19 19 but wouldnt h-elf beath that out wit xx xx 19 19 19 20? someone help? |

Post by Id on 01/20/04 at 04:30:43 naw..it's just luck. all 18 con are the same. people like a certain class because... dwarf - high hp halfling- high dodge human - (half elf would be a better choice, yes)well..they're not bad at anything...and good at nothing. elf - good mana, good heal all race above are considered at max stat... |

Dwarf, humans, and halflings would also make good clerics, but not to start. Elf = highest wisdom = easiest to train. Also means they heal for the most (which is why they're easiest to train). Also get highest mana i think. Their hp is even good, as good as anything other than dwarves. Make an elf cleric. This is for first clerics guys, and I'm telling you right now Gaddy is a good cleric, but when you're at a boss and you need your crits to stay alive, your cleric to cast spells without having to waste parts of mana crystals, and to fizzle as little as possible- elf is the way to go, Adio owns Gaddy, and that is why we're paying to get Ceaser trained to arch. Get yourself a nice elf- x x 19 18 20 21 Get it to AT LEAST level 24, and you can train in most places. I'd suggest just getting your cleric to arch or master or lvling it from 18+ in zeum til it is arch while taking other crits with you and attacking the moderns with cleric and party. You get a high level cleric out of this, some high level attackers (not as high as cleric for obvious reasons), and lots of gold if you can log on extra crits to hold mana for you. Once you have got the kind of attacking crits you need to go to bosses, get in duels with high levels---that is when you may want a dwarf cleric, simply because they're harder to 1 click than elves. Really when you've got spelled up crits 30 more hp only makes a difference some of the time, but it has helped me MANY times in the past in moshes, duels, and fights. Dwarf clerics will only help you if you've got other high levels and you want to fight, really as a first cleric get an elf, get other alts that are high level, then train a dwarf if you REALLY REALLY must, which you shouldn't need to if you've got a good elf cleric, they get 290+ hp while dwarves get mostly 315-330 (there are some special exceptions from some time when the hp was semi-screwy). Elf is the way to go. Edit- as a couple of notes- This is just comparing elves and dwarves. Humans aren't bad, Sour is a very nice cleric. Flip is an excellent halfling cleric also, if i wanted a 4th high lvl cleric it'd definatly be halfling. As for reference on the clerics i used as examples of dwarf vs. elf- Gaddy is 21 12 18 21 18 17 324hp 319 mana Adio is 18 21 19 18 20 21 295hp 351 mana Int makes no difference so they're basically equal clerics as for what'd be best to use, both have nice hp for either race. |
