Post by Eternal_Darkness on 01/26/03 at 07:55:42 I think Fighters should have one magic attack that takes up all stamina to attack with a devestating blow,but the effect is you don't get the next round of stamina.You should have to defeat a boss that drops a Scroll of the Warrior,and when you use it it should say,"You suddenly feel more powerful and raging with strength."Only Archmasters(Fighters) can use it.It should be a 50% drop chance from the Demonic General and the Halberd should be a 50% drop chance too.If not that make a new boss some where hidden and give the item a 100% drop chance.I mean personaly i think it is a good idea and if staff wants they can make it for Rangers too. |

(this would probably take the base damage down about a quarter in each weapon, and allow the fighter to hit twice. This could be cool, and a quarter is about right, because instead of half (I mean two weapons with both whole would just double base damage which would make fighters too powerful) but you see, half would 'weaken' it, because seperate hits have a chance of missing, and so quarter. Some might say it it should be more than a quarter, but they need a little attack bonus because of the shield that they are missing. |

I like Stotic's idea for the double wield. 2 halberd would do a lot of damage, but how are you going to do it. It would still use up the same amount of stamina. Just like hitting them but twice as fast. No difference between have one or two. Like to see a code that doesnt take down the stamina as easily as one does. |

Humans follow up close behind, due to having less strength than the dwarf, but also the handicap of having less dex than the halfling. A BoT is not at all a necessity for a dwarf, just a means of making one 'mean' opponent if it is decked out. A decked out 4 stat arch dwarf is the only fighter that stands a chance against classes such as the Ranger. |

Hit twice (as long as you got two single handed weapons equiped) for each stam but quater less hit damage plus the loss of shield armour. If thats a bit too strong maybe you could have -1 dex because of the difficulty in co-ordinating your attack? Plus it'd mean you have to get some more interesting single-handed weapons into the game like a spiked knuckle-duster or something. Hugh |
