DOWN TO THE BASICS. WHAT THEY NEED

Without adding fancy pantsie new skills and bullocks, what the druids need, totally on the level, IS: A weapon for levels between 18 - 24 that does a little more damage Have 4th stamina moved to level 23 or 24. Have Jolt strengthened A LITTLE, and cost reduced A LITTLE Have a touch more total mana. POSSIBLY: A weapon with a little mana drain, to compensate for having to split inventory over potions and crystals. HEAL SHOULD NOT BE TOUCHED.

Mana isn't that bad... But I can't agree or disagree there. Heal should be touched... Not much, but touched. And the rest is great. * Norinth applauds Deval.

Heal should be touched slightly, but not enough to create a druid cleric. Maybe instead of healing for say 20-25, heal for 30-35. Nothing huge though.

My druid, with 20 wis and 20 char heals for 22 max. So druids don't heal for 25. Maybe at level 30, I never had a level 30 druid. But thats what I said. Get it changed to what it used to be. Nobody wants a druid cleric. Nobody wants a sucky druid.

I suggested many spells. Fair and adapted to the druid. Now the rest isn't up to me, know what I mean?

Most things suggested are 'forest only' which is pretty pointless as there is very little forest in this game (Arilin and Triken afaicr) And the best monster in forest is the brown bear, which although ok for first 15 levels is not the best to level after that. And it seems the main problems with druids is levelling. Top lvl druids get vines, enough mana to morph and an above average weapon (A few new spells would be nice in the class upgrades), and with a few minor tweaks could be a very respectable class. No, the problem is getting there which, backed up by the fact there are very few l20+ druids in game, gets really hard at l12+. Proof that druids are substandard: If anyone understands mutual exclusivness, read on, quite a lot of u may not. Anyway, by M.E.: (NE = non existant) Skills chosen are fighting, magery, healing (the skills that can gain you XP. Ignore thieves for now) Fighter - fighting Good, magery NE, healing NE Mage - fighting Very Poor, magery Good, healing NE Cleric - fighting Poor, magery NE, healing Good Druid - fighting Below Average, magery Poor, healing Poor Only 1 skill can be used at a time to gain XP, therefore each class will most likely create oppertunaties to use their best skill. As one skill only is used, the other skills are therefore worthless, the worth of a class can be determined by its best skill therefore: Fighter (fighting) = Good Mage (magery) = Good Cleric (healing) = Good Druid (fighting) = Below Average

my druid is lvl 20, and i think 50th ranked druid, no gold on it, no pk's with it, been pk'ed like 200 times. that shows how pathetic this class is

I agree all what Deval and Alicia said. I think a druid class need much more development immediately. I'm soon totally bored to leveling my druid anymore, because they are weak. I have good stats and my druid is an expert, but that is nothing. (I think druids have only one good ability and it is a camouflage. All depend on it.) Alicia is right what she said about training druids at forests. We need more forests (and maybe little harder monsters than brown bears are in there). Brown bears are now all what you can beat fine after Barrier Forest (if you are an elf druid).

1 more thing for Alicia: Dead forest south of Nightmist and Barrier Forest around Necromancer's Tower are also considered forests.

I admit I've only leveled a druid up to 20 so far, but I find them quite enjoyable to play. I think they are reasonably balanced (not vs. classes) with fighting skill, magic skill (morphing), and healing. They play well alone - I, personally don't care how they duel and on a pvp scale, it's all messed up already, so how can you really give a good estimate of how a druid fairs...

druids do make a great solo character to roleplay with. like mages, i belive druids will really pay off at higher lvls. I have a 6 stat perfect halfing druid and have been dueling it with various classes at each lvl of the same lvl and it keeps gettin better and better...havent won a duel yet, but were still only lvl 23 and progress is cleary being made. Take time to learn each and every aspect of a druid, they are very well diverse, and have abilities to capatilize on many weaknesses apponents may have, you just have to know what weaknesses to look for and learn how to best exploit them.

I agree druids are enjoyable to play and through preference I would play mine as a lone character. But I can’t because of the situation with how much I get hit in proportion to what I can heal for. Training just isn’t realistic in many areas of the map. As for player vs. player combat I have always been amazed for how much a druid gets hit even with the massive dex increases of some morphs. I believe my druid has 28 dexterity in the cheetah morph but even a lower level fighter hardly ever seems to miss me. Still, I love the druid class and I will continue to play them whatever.

It's amazing how much they miss get hit period, its rediculous. In Lesser Wurm with my lvl 20 i have taken down 2 archy who have attacked me, but thats luck. I used the ability so many times, and i think ive hit 5 times

Must have been more than luck lol, maybe some prior mortal wounding? You can't expect a level 20 druid to be great with wurm whatever happens, really it's keyed up to be a higher level ability. But yeah they do seem to get hit rather a lot, even with possibly the highest dexterity seen in the game.
