what influences the time a spring stay's? sometimes the thing dissapears in a second now i jsut cast one that stay for ages (i killed 2 sand spiders and 2 scorpions and when i passed the point where i cast the spring it was still there) so does it matter on who i cast spring or what?

I think it has to do with timing. Like say if 2 springs are started at the same time, but a few squares away, they will die at the same time. Just because of the time limit, if you start right before the time limit ends, it's a short spring, or if you do it right after it ends, it's a long one. Not positive but it's what I think.

it should be based on when u start the spring not a general timer...but i do not have a cleric to speak of right now so it isnt an issue to me. However it does seem unfair to those who are almost dead because of thirst and have just enuf mana to start a spring and it dries up seconds after they start it...The springs could be based on the crits lvl to how long the spring stays...dunno if that would work but its a suggestion.

I have started a spring and it not last long enough to even use and then i've started one that seemed to stay for minutes. I too would like to know what affects it.

im pretty sure its like CKY said, they are run on a timer that is set to stop springs say every 15 seconds or whatever it may be and if u create one right b4 that time is up then they go away within seconds.

yeah same here lol tnx jlh but can you explain why you made it random? cuz seems more logic to me to have int or wis and lvl determine the time it would stay up.

If you get to the point where your crits are about to die of thirst and you only have enough mana for one spring, then 1) You are pretty much dead anyway. 2) The mana would be better spent on an aid, you *might* just make it back to a town. as anyone who has been in the same square as me training will probably have seen, having 5-6 crits hungry and thirsty is no big problem, you only die of that if you are afk. The only real problem is when all the you are hungry you are thirsty yor alts are all hungry/thirsty messages (which take up almost the full screen) scroll out more important messages, such as: six tr archies have just arrived from south, the anaconda has poisoned you, your alt was assassinated (yes, someone assassinated my alt once and i didnt realise, we both were on afk so i thought it was mine, when i found out he had dropped 2 of mine and had 3 failed attempts, all the time i was attacking the sandspider)

| lol don't worry about that having 5-6 crits beeing hungry and thirsty it gets annoying when you have 12 crits beeing hungry and thirsty

still.. you must have a huge monitor to fit all them on, i suppose you could have one pally/cleric as leader with 4 directional macros and aid for your most vunerable crits, then a second healer with 12 aids macro'd, then 10 other crits with attack macros, but still, how could you cascade that many windows and still leave somewhere on each window to click on... And (on my monitor at least) once you go above six crits you cant see any health bars apart from the one in front coz they all are obscured. And yes, i remember all 12 macros for all my l20+ crits

no no no lol you just use one crit with directions and attacks. you just maximise all windows and you just use your mouse to click on the next window in your menu bar thingy (the start bar where all the minimized windows show up) and then you jsut put all the macors the same so if you go to desert you put attack sand on f1 for all your crits so you jsut ahve to use your mouse to go to the window you want and press f1 all the time

yeah thats what i do, have all attacks the same on f1-f4 (like you say, 'sand' on f1 for the desert to hit sandspiders and sandscorpions) but if you use the start bar u cant see your crits health/mana/stamina bars
