i thought long and hard for this one folks!

Kill People

yes, killing people on thier way to archmaster sets them back, and if you make it a point to prevent them from training in thier favorite place for the night (by killing them of course) you've also prevented them from breaking even for thier time. Lots of people can talk about the "lvl 30 problem" but who here will do something about it! so next time you feel the journey to archmaster has become a kiddy ride, take matters into your own hands and cover them with blood!

Hmmm, I dont think I quite like this idea. The other day, my party was pk'ed by a group of 8 arch's to my 4 crits all below lvl 25. It was rediculous, i couldn't leave the city because someone else was farther in the woods, who had me macrod and then there's your sad little pk'ing clan kalypso with you watching the fun. But then later in the night, I actually cought up with Tadpole in the barracks when he was on a alt, and I haven't seen anyone else run as fast. Now, I knew who he was, paged him, and told him I wasn't going to pk him, low and behold he came back and we actually got to talking. It's funny how things like that go. I'm not saying 'You all need to get a bleeping blep blep life' or anything like that, but come on, you gotta have better things to do. And this isn't because I got killed either, I got killed yesterday and actually complimented the person on their crit, guess what, we got to talking :).

Maybe the problem is that the people who are lvl 30, don't do many productive things with thier crits.

Yeah, I don't think alot of people find good things to do with their crits. Maybe instead of spending all this time complaining about how lvl 30 sucks, they could find a different game or accept that lvl 30 is the end as far as it goes. Or you could always just train more crits. It doesn't make sense to me to have 400 mil+ on a crit and then complain about lvl 30. You could hav lvl'ed a crit to at least lvl 25 by the time you got all that extra xp.

gah how about you just change the exp tables? so you need more exp to lvl :D

(like the old exp tables but then with the exp you can get now) getting arch then would be a hughe pain in the ass :D

for the millionth time: a reset would just reset all the current problems. besides, killing people is a flawless solution to "the level 30 problem." now go kill everyone guys!

Seems lvl 30's are getting weaker now adays my lvl 24 dwarf thief clicked a Dwarf Archmaster Fighter in 1 round of 5 stam pretty pathetic i say, and i tihnk JLh should make lvl 30's be able to lvl aleast 3 more lvl's and get better armor for lvl 30 fighters cuz Spiked Set's suck againest a thief that can assasinate for 300dmg and more depending on the person he tries clicking and that was mages can get a little better hp .

I wonder if there is a real problem with leveling past level 30.  

Can Pandilex or JLH field this?  Is there a problem to raise a character level too high?  Or is Level 30 set to face the challenges in game?

Would it be a good idea to increase the level if there are more harder monsters to kill?

I reemmber the old nightmist where someone brought Norinth to the front gates and along with a lot of monsters in a roleplaying attempt tot ake over night mist.  And the high and low levels running tot he front gates jumping on the monsters whether they died or not and it was just fun.  

But that was before the reset and before the changes and the additions of the pacifists, when zerkers were barbarians, when thieves were thieves and assassins.

Hmmm Multiclassing?  allow the level 30 to multiclass into another class but the xp gain continues from level 30 up?

From what I could see, 250 mil xp is level 30.  to make it higher level you could always multiply the xp so that the present almost omnipotents need to gain xp still.

how about say 250mil x 2, for level 31 (500mill xp)
500 mil x2 for level 32 (1000 mil)

of course this would take forever but then they are gaining a new class level.  A ranger with shock? and doing 5 stamina shocks?

Just a thought.

if u need challenges then try this i am currently doing :D
lvl a crit to 30 with no help of alts (EXTREME with a mage)
u gotta make cash for a new oak vest and so on :P

pre-reset it was weird to c someone train with 3 alts at the same time lol. i only used 2 at that time :D guess i've gotten 6 times as good at training lol :D

Post reset I trained a thief alone to arch. That was a lot of Orcs, Bears, snakes, and some scorpions in Jahanna.

ok I saw this in one of the mud games I play (or is that what people called it)...  after reaching the max level, the level can pay a sum of money to be reset back to lvl 1 with one of the 6 stat (str int dex con wis char --who know, maybe even the 7th stat, armor--) improved.

(Basically...+1 to random stat-so people can't just choose dex or con everytime).  Then again..this would push those 6 stat crit's price way up....and players would spend 90% game time on the roller (not that they're not already doing that).

AA lvls (Archi Attack) ok sad name but im in a hurry here

Gets u special things like faster stam or + 20hp or somit like that to give them something other than pk to do

Try doing that with the game in its CURRENT state... lower xp, no jahanna pub, half xp in arenas, pkers everywhere (say ur not allowed to tell anyone who your crit is so the pkers will be more 'friendly') ...
