Is it just me or does anyone else find this command overly abused? I mean are people that private to where they are? I don't see the point now of having /clan loc considering that everyone is always 'hidden'. I can't blame them because there are no advantages of being not hidden. But why not just abolish the whole location sending all together if everyone despises it so much? I never toggleloc. Only on my staff character. I'd personally like to see /toggleloc abolished or limited/regulated in an aspect.

Ive noticed that, possibly to do with people putting spy alts in clans, but it can be frustrating training in an area that is rarely used, seeing another party come into your square, instinctivly hitting your party enhance/champs macros, then realising it is a fellow clanmembers alts and uv just wasted 100-odd mana

the only problem i see with that is: when spies are put into clans, they know where the whole clan is... easy target for any other clan. i personally like /toggleloc. if any of my friends wanna know where i am at, they can ask, and i feel that it can be that way for anyone, they may not want the clan to know where they are at, or anyone else to know for that matter. just figured i would post my thoughts on this matter, if JLH is gonna change it, i can do nothing about it

I like the idea of letting clan Chairman see where their members are...because I can't fully trust my members...aka one of my founders just walked off with 30k gold we were saving for the clan house...

uhm one member in my clan sold his alt a while ago and dident disband it. The new owner was unnoticed still in clan.At this time one of my crits was 2 million away from arch and some clannie asked me something like how is the training.... i told him "2 mill left dude" lol and bang an Arch party from another clan showed up and pked me... that was 4 million to arch.This happened 4 times the same day by the same party although i was changing training location.later the new owner of the crits paged a founder telling him that our clannie is stupid to not disband the crit he sales...

Of course my toggleloc was off at this time so everyone in clan was able to se my location and my point is: toggleloc is very useful in some situations it would have saved me from about 8 mill i had to train over and over again cause so spy-dude in the clan was telling his clannies where i am.

I see no need to change it, personally. There are times people would like to be left to train in peace, and should be allowed to do so, and yes the spy thing would be another reason to keep it intact. No matter how tight your security, once your clan begins to take on a mass of people there will always be those whose intentions are not so honorable. I could easilly slip into TR, or any clan in game who is taking on new members heh..trust me on this. The reason you don't notice as the smaller clans do would be that who in thier right mind is going to track down TR with thier little pk parties?
Anyway, yeah.. whats it going to hurt to leave it as is?
