I was under the strong impression that charisma was only what you GOT healed for and not what you healed for. Is this true? It seems that my crits with higher Charisma seem to be healing for more then those with lower Charisma....

They are gonna heal themselves higher as they themselves have higher charisma, this is where you could be confusing you'reself.

I'm talking about healing monsters. I usually train lower level clerics, pallys, and druids in the Forest of Souls, healing on the Skeletons. It just seems to me that the crits with higher Charisma heal them for more than the crits with lower Charisma...

I was just training a Cleric at level 7 and he was healing the Skeleton for around 13-14 pts of damage. I've had level 1's that heal for 16+....

charisma only affects how much someone is healed for not how much someone heals for. nothing else.

Your clerics have same wisdom? the charisma effect is only small.. at l24 with aid i heal my char 6 crit for 85 and my char 19 for 89, thats 1/3 a hit point per charisma

Are your sure your not confusing one of your crits with a paladin, cus they have a much stronger minor heal.

Yes, I'm sure. There minor heal does like 10 more. I have a Cleric that has 16 Charisma and one with 9 Charisma. Granted the Cleric with 16 Charisma also has 1 extra wisdom.... But I just didn't think that would account for a 5-6 point difference when healing.. Maybe it would and It's just me.. I dunno.

My cleric has -5 charisma and 28 wisdom. I DR Demonic Soldiers + Spider King for 130s? Aid is around 110?

So yeah, charisma does very little effect (if any). It depends more on wisdom+lvl?

yes clerics use charisma, so if u got an elf w/21 char, ur gonna heal for more, bottom line.

I think that a very low charisma causes low hp gains for crits. I have about 5 crit with crappy 6-10 point charisma and they get low hps. All crits have full const anyway, but if charisma is low, they suck...

Yup im gonna back up Kazul here and say charisma does affect how much damage you do against monsters - i got one cleric with 21 char and one with 8, on average there's about 3 points difference in damage. I dunno about HP gain tho /shrug hadnt noticed anything personally  8)

There's no point backing him up.. It's true.. Clerics do need char to heal undead for more...
