I believe that the Summon spell should be implemented into the game.  I personally like the summon spell in the old nightmist and wish it to come back for the cleric.  I also wish for an attacking spell for the cleric.  Without a partially good attacking spell, then clerics are really only good for healing.

no...clerics with summon would ruin clerics...clerics are defensive..not offensive...well they can be used for offense..lol ive pked with mine >.< but anyway Necromancers summon monsters not clerics...ever seen the cleric guilds..."holy" *smack smack*

Clerics are not supposed to be defensive, they should have a strong attack and several offensive spells, and summoning would be one of them (Animate Dead) *smack smack*

I believe Clerics are under-rated.
If clerics were to have new spells/weapons
They too could kill people, instead of
Continually being killed with ease.
I know clerics are targeted 1st.
They are the healing force, but added with
New/EFFECTIVE Spells/Weapons,  
They can possibly be an unstoppable force.

I agree with sin...and animate dead...and holy characters...some people just dont understand. If you make clerics with strong offensive spells, that means they will be unstoppable.  And that wouldnt be fair.  So...you make all classes have ups and downs..to even them out? *shrug*

Clerics should have at least one attacking spell. Like in the old nightmist they had Flame Strike.  Without an offensive spell or a better weapons and armor clerics aren't anything but healers and always the first ones targeted when pking.

Clerics atm are fine, although I always agree more spells/abilities helps prvent boredom and character development keeps the clones down to a minimum, I think they should be left alone untill all other classes have been tweaked a little, JLH/Gir/the rest of the staff are still in the process of balancing/fixing everything before they will really go into further detail with making all classes more powerful, so just give them some time.  
 
With the summoning spell, I really don't think it should be implemented for a cleric period, they are more defensive in nightmist, although they are more offensive in D&D this game isn't D&D, so they will probably just stay the healers/protecters of a party.

Clerics need some type of decent attacking spell.
Maybe a spell that does around 40 damage.
