If we were paying off staff, wouldn't that mean we pay off Zephie as well, who happens to be Kalypso, chairman of TR on her mortal crit? Then what sense would that make? 3. Title: Re: Broken Post by InsaneNinjaPhreak on 05/25/03 at 17:37:02 Wow, I've been with this clan since around the beginning April, and have seen nothing but good things happen, when I first joined it was ranked around 21, we had a short lived battle with some other clans for our spot back then and began to rise up in rankings and members, after a long period of time, I was honored with foundership, after devoting myself to the clan completely, doing everything I could to help members and make as much money I could to get the next room, we had a 100 sum members back then with 10 rooms, now we have 247 members with 19 rooms, ranked 9 and have kept the ranking for quite some time now... What I'm trying to say here, is that this is one d**n good clan, with a friendly environment, it's like an extended family, I'd just like to say, woot go Broken! heh I'd say its no longer a clan full of n00bs and has been that way for awhile now, if anyone would like to join make sure to contact one of the founders/leaders, or chairwoman, we're always looking for more good people to join our family, well, have fun y'all. |

Next for the guy who just wanted to keep a lvl 5 crit that he never used...shrugs.. That is his to do what he wishes I have crits that I never use anymore but I would not sell. I know how much they are worth and I dont care. Most of the older members of broken come from a time where when you rped you were only allowed to play one crit at a time, unless you started a new one but then the old crit would have to sit on stand buy until you wanted to play him again. So we hold old crits untill later when we feel like playing them. |

Having said this, I want to explain the structure of members in our clan. We have high lvl experienced players, who are willing ot teach other, not so experienced, players what they know about the game. Yes, we do have a lot of "newbs" in our clan, because unlike some other clans we don't believe in only taking in people with experience. We believe that if shown the right path, every newb can turn into a good player. We don't pack them in cotton candy and give them everything for free, but we help them learn, take them training and teach them to train themselves. Of course you always run into newbs who hope for the easy way (borrowing gold or asking for free gold, items and so on), but we are usually really reluctant in giving those and instead help them to aquire some of their own. To call us "adept ingame and expert on the forum" is uncalled for. Just because we are not closed to newbs and instead offer them a clan that helps them learn, doesn't mean all clan members are inexperienced. Those who are, won't be for long, that's what our clan is about. |

It appears to me people didn't like the trash talking that this crit had done while in an enemy clan, now I may not be aware of all the details but if you have a problem with a clannie bring it up to that particular person or bring it to a founders attention and they'll sort out the issue, leaving the clan should be a last resort in a situiation like so. If any of the people that left today would like back in be sure to contact anyone of the founders/leaders and you shall be let back in. Thank you and that will be all. |

We started Broken after Newb decided to sell Loveless, and it was a group effort from the beginning. Lich, Valygar and I put together the gold to start Broken and buy the first few rooms. Shortly after, Zellish joined, and the clan grew bigger than we thought it ever would. Thanks to all clannies again for making us what we are today. Edit: finally fixed my typo! |
