my mage has 20 intel and yet, when attacking other people, can do a max of 35 (on a person with only 9 wis) with beam. is this natural for a lvl 25 mage or is sumthing just messed up or sumthing

When you go too far under exp the damage that you do is halved.

I think the formula for it is...

Exp needed for current lvl - Exp needed for level below, then 30% of that number (/100*30)

That number is how much below exp u have to be before you start hitting players for half.

I asked JLH once and im sure thats what he told me...

Didn't used to be that way but once people got their crits to master/Archmaster they used to suicide them in pointless but fun clan wars . . .

I bought an Archmaster fighter (LeviathanIX) a long time ago and it had 130 million exp ended up selling it with around 80 million exp . . .

My point is its not dumb just adds caution to the game

lol I bought him once, but that was before I found out he was under exp. I bought him thinking he was about 10 mil over, but he was 180 mil under! And it was when the 30% under rule was first put in!
