Title: spells
Post by aenir on 05/08/03 at 06:00:49
I started to train a mage and i just now realized that there is no attacking spell till lvl 14(im pretty sure) so how do people train them till then? there should be an added spell or take flame and put it down a couple lvls and make it a lil weaker. to even out the spells. and they should change spells so theres like a spell a lvl instead of 3 lvl 15 and 3 lvl 20 or whatever.

I am fairly sure I saw another low level mage using an attacking spell. Something to do with electricity I think.

Shock is an offensive spell.  In your terms, "it hurts things".

Shock is the spell for attacking until level 15, where you get Flame.
(No, I'm not just observing the table, although it is helpful. :D)

Shock untill level 15 is.. retarded, every class can do that much damage in a single hit at level 10, while you have mages doing 15 damage a turn, when they don't fizzle, and they get 4 hits in before they die.

They really need to get a new spell at level 10, something that does damage in between shock and flame.

I like it the way it is ... took me 20 houres to get my mage till lvl 15, theyre should be difference in how hard/easy it is to lvl a class.

Nope, Nope, Nope. Personally I think that mage at level 29 and 30 should be untouchable. They should destroy everything in their path. Or atleast have the abilities to do so when put together.

I also think that if this, and it should be apparent. Then mage should be by far the hardest class, and most costly to train. Which they are by far.
Mages just need more of a variety of spells, but making them easy to train wouldnt solve anything really.
