and exactly what does this mean? i gather it pings the "tree" so to speak and then the "branches"? but why is the request timing out? is it cuz i live on the other side of the world to the server or something?

please forgive me if this doesnt make sense, its 2:09am here and i need sleep :'(

every line is a hub on the connection you make to the server.

the numbers behind it are the pings (time it takes for a package to be sent there and back (if i'm not mistaken) basically it's timing out because the ping is to high to be measured. which means you have major lag :D

/nod.. or.. the connection may not be able to be made.. like when the internation gateway goes down or something.

ok.. well i live in NZ with 128k adsl, my ping on NM seldom goes below 400, im used to it.. just wondering what it was like to have <100ping :'(
