At school. It's not that it says that the website is restricted. The forum itself pops up a little message. It looks just like the message that pops up when you try posting and you aren't a member of the forums. I can d/l Nightmist. The message says "Sorry, you are banned from using these forums."

Why is this?

(I'm obviously not at school at the moment. :P )

Does the forum work ok if you don't login? (i know you won't be able to post)
If so, then i would guess either the login name you are using is banned, or the ip address of the school is banned.
Or, i suppose it's possible that the school's internet provider have put some clever thing in to stop you all playing about on forums when you should be working :)

It doesn't even give me the choice to login... And this username is most definetly not banned. :P

It has the same thing up at top:

But underneath that it says:

'Sorry, you are banned from using these forums.'

Or something of that nature.

Note: I just put the 'Log in.' thing in there cuz I couldn't remember what it really said....... This whole thing isn't really that big of a deal. I was just wonderin'.

Figures... Is there anyway that you could unban the IP's and just ban the users.. Because they still won't be able to post...

I know this is asking alot BTW.

if you know the school's ip, lol
if you run the traceroute program from the help menu on the website from school, that will tell you it
