I tried Voicechat out, I got connected with my friend. And the button, "Hold Down to Talk to Zenith" was there. But, on his screen it went to "Playing" after I tried first. Then he connected to me and tried to talk and I got "Playing".

We had Voicechat on AIM going fine. Zephie said she thinks it might be the client. If so, could this be fixed?

There's voice chat on NM? ... what is this madness that you speak of? How do I attempt to make it work?

when you hold down the button, you talk, and he sees his button saying playing. only 1 person can talk at a time.

Yeah.... I know, but right when one person tries to talk, on the other person's screen "Playing" stays there. Also, nothing goes through.
