Ok I dont have a firewall and I have read over the FaQ and I am still stuck at the login screen while it says connecting. I have uninstalled and reinstalled the client a couple times and it still doesnt work. Someone help me plz. :'(

Have you tried using 'Alternate DNS' etc etc in the options on the login screen? I used to have that problem now and then, and doing above usually fixed it.

Yep tried that too, and it still says Connecting.

Funny thing is that no matter how long I let it set there, trying to connect, it never comes up with any kind of error msg or anything.

Have you tried uninstalling and reinstalling it? There is something magic about the process which often helps.

start > run > type in "resvr32 richtx32.ocx" (no quotes)

might be a typo in there :D

Thanks for the input everyone, but I solved the problem. Something was wrong and I had a virus of some sort, so I formated the drive and reinstalled windows. I hadnt noticed that there was a dozen other problems along with the NM client. Neways, problem all solved, and thanks again guys.
