i currently live with my boyfriend and my computer used to sign onto nightmist, but now it wont. we now have dsl, but i still you dial up, i can get onto the internet fine, but i cant sign onto nightmist. figuring it was cookies, i looked and they were abled, so i figured it was my computer. i then tried my boyfriends, who played nightmist for over a year at his house, and it too wouldnt sign on, even though it worked fine 2 weeks before. when we try to sign on it says change dns or port sometimes, but usually it just says connecting. whats wrong?

have, there's only one thing they said it could be, cookies, still wont connect (isp faq)

and nightmists faq helped me zilch :-\

follow the nightmist faq on the telnet part, it is there for a reason :)

tried, and said it couldnt connect...

i would also like to point oput the fact that nothing at all has been changed to either computer in the last 2 weeks, we were on vacation, came back, and all of a sudden, it only works on the dsl computer, which is no fun because we can't play together, there has to me something else wrong other then the 'firewalls'

you have another computer connected to this one, and some sort of internet routing so the other pc gets its internet from the dsl computer?
if so, check the setup of the dsl computer's routing program.

no, both are cpompletely seperate from the 2 dsl computers. but anyhow, i re-downloaded nightmist to her computer, and found out that certain file in the old one were corrupted, everything fine now, sorry about the trouble
