i'm trying to install nm on my school comp but it keeps giving me some errors during installation and when i run nm it sais

Component mswinsck.ocx or one of it dependencies not correctly registered: a file is missing or invalid.

anyone know what file i'm missing and how i can isntall it ?

if try to install nm i can't install the following files:
c:\winnt\system32\st6unts can't be created or acces to file denied.
c:\winnt\system32\richtx32.ocx
same as previous one
c:\winnt\system32\Msinet.ocx
same as firs one :D
c:\winnt\system32\Mswinsck.ocx
same again :D
and some others with same error too :D

so if i get this right i can't access c:\winnt\system32

anyone know a way around this (except for the system administrator to give me access?)

edit: when finished it sais it can't register wavestream.dll and 2 other ddls and some .ltb file :D

I am pretty sure they rigged it like that for a reason. Last time I checked you weren't allowed to install games and such on school computers. ;)

Don't you get to play enough from home? One day you'll get sucked into the game and won't be able to come out anymore...lol

try just running the exe version, if those files are already present on the machine, nightmist should work.

Sad sad sad JLH, you are helping this kid to install NM on a SCHOOL computer, when he's supposed to use that comp to study! Shame on you!

actually this study is easy as hell most of the times i don't even have to read the books to pass some of the courses (ok sometimes i ahve to make the test 3 time but that's allowed anyway :D)

I highly doubt his teachers will accept those math questions as a proper education for his age, unless of course he's a first grader. ;)
