Title: Problem with Windows
Post by -ForgottenFate- on 05/07/03 at 14:51:19
Being the fool I am, I downloaded something, ran it, and now have this bloody program that seems to stop me from shutting my machine down. I was just wondering if anyone knew the command that can be typed into the Run thingy to bring up the list of things that get started when you boot up.

Anyone know what i'm talking about, or am i talking nuts again??

Control + Alt + Delete.. all depressed at the same time will bring up the pop up box you are talking about.

Nah, that's not what i need. Cus this little nutse of a program starts itself up each time i boot my machine up. I guess that means its set itself into my boot up order thingy.. You know, the thing that says: Boot this, that, then this, then that.

I think this might help

Start - Programs - Accessories - System Tools - System Information - Tools - System Configuration - Start Up

Once you get to start up you'll get a list of what starts up when you boot your computer, this is where you stop things from starting up when you start your computer, but be careful to not turn anything off that is vital to your computer.
