I have read through the forum, I dont know what is going on right now, anything I try will not connect me to the game, I can connect with telnet to the server, but when I try to connect, it just brings up the connecting... and it wont go any farther than that.

I have a cable modem with a router, windows xp, but the firewall is turned off, and I can play around with the alternate port/alternate dns options, and it still wont work. The computer will connect to the server using telnet, but not using the nightmist application. I dont know how to get it to work.

sounds like you have to enable port 110 ro 8080 to allow incoming data.

this issue was solved on msn, the router was the problem.

Yes, the router was the problem, I could hook any computer straight up to the cable modem, and they would work, but I could not use any computer with the router. I returned the router, and am back on for good, hopefully.
