ok i saw a threat about sound issues but hmm i ahve sound and music enabled and only sounds i ahve are when i get paged and the doorbell thingy when staff does something ooh and when staff appears i get a sound too but no music or something. that correct?

it would be good to have in game sound for pages and clan chat right and like all other apps allow to turn off and on

pandilex is working out the music for the game, composing is a very difficult thing to do, so it will take him some time.

ooh ok that's cool but i wondered if my sound was bugged or not but i guess not :p i don't mind not having music and stuff :p

actually i only see 2... pagereceive.wav and systemmsg.wav.. but i still don't here any sound when somebody pages me

if they are 0 bytes large (right click - properties), delete them.
double clicking them should play them in windows media player.
check volume control in bottom right corner of screen.

i have music on, i here pages, but i dont hear anything else, the 2 other files are larger then 0 bits. whats wrong?

delete them, they may have got corrupt somehow, the game will redownload them when they are next needed.

btw the one music file is only music you hear in a church so if it's only bugged if you don't hear music in church :p

im with magnus, i have had the same prob. only its not just affecting my nm files.  when im on nm i cant hear aol im's or any other sound.

any suggestions...

that can be caused by bass.dll, i have removed this dll from nightmist (it was going to do mod3 music), you can do help-update game to get a bass.dll free version.

yup.. this fixed it.. now i don't havta quit nm to listen to mp3s :)
