Can you fix the sound or whatever..?! I can't listen to my own personal music or be on a sound based chat program when wanting to play Nightmist. :-/

what sound card do you have?
if you don't know, what sort of computer do you have, like a make and model number so i can check it out.

XP would solve this problem I know windows 98se wich I had at one point dosn't like the sound card sharing with apps but xp is pretty good about that

I have a.. ESS SOLO-1 PCI AudioDrive..?! I guess. I'm not computer smart..like yerself.. ;P

ooh.. i have the same prob... don't ask me about my computer specs coz i don't know crap :p is there any way to fix this...? oh... i'm running windows 98

Same prob here...

i run a muted winamp before running nm, this prevents nm seizing the soundcard

Win98se before u ask

Yeah, I have to run Winamp before starting up Nightmist..didn't have the problem before. I thought I was the only one who had this problem.

note: if anyone ever needs your system spec's click start/run type in "dxdiag" (without the quotation marks) you will find an option to save the information. then either find the appropriate info, or email them the entire text.

Yeah i sorta have the same problem but my winamp plays wen nm is running but sometimes after a while it stops responding and i have to restart my comp cos i like my music ;D

Mine got fixed some how.. with my last blue screen error I had.. ::)
