Title: new class
Post by Agenda on 02/12/04 at 14:53:40
idk what to call it.... it would be proficent with spells, although even using spells it would do little damage.  It would be just a really weak, pointless class, that only serves the purpose of invising other people or giving mana shop owners income.

It could only use such weapons as staffs an weak weapons like that.  It could have spells sort of like the following...

maybe one that does almost no damage, cost: 5MP - get it at lvl 1 or something /shrug

fireball or something (only does a little more) cost: 7MP - maybe lvl 15

blast or light ball maybe, cost (also very weak) : 10MP-lvl 20, 21 maybe

light arrow or beam or something (does in the 60s)cost: 15, 20 maybe - lvl 25

it could also have various armor raising spells that still don't balance out how weak it is... also a spell like invisibility that you can cast for 20 mana (lvl 15+) that allows you to disappear for very little time... making camo on druids far superior...

it could get its stamina at higher lvls than other classes... like lvl 10, 18, 26, 29 maybe?

and with those kinda spells it'll cost you a bunch in mana to train it!

bad stamina + high mana cost (can't go on long training trips) + low damage = bish to lvl

maybe the class could be called mages or something  ::)

its not a bad class, could be worse (crappy hp) but, I could see this worth while to put in  :P.

Nah, I think it'd be overpowered. Maybe it should fizzle 80% of the time to balance it.

oooo yeah, forgot those, was gonna have those too

1 more thing... maybe the other 20% of the time it doesn't fizzle it can be resisted? o.O

So far, the only let down with Mages (for me), is when using them to attack another person.. Appart from that, training isn't hard.

Maybe people just need to start thinking outside the box (what a great line :P).

Wow this is a great class idea, never seen the like, all this time this game was looking for a decent magic using class and this is perfect.
