Title: Re: Crit Rolling Post by JLH on 01/26/04 at 22:49:09 it is an attempt to stop auto rolling programs |

Title: Re: Crit Rolling Post by alone on 01/26/04 at 22:49:56 It's there because people started to create programs that would auto-maticly roll characters for five staters and such. |

Title: Re: Crit Rolling Post by Ghost on 01/28/04 at 04:06:11 Thats a very good idea but it would be alot better if it could have like a what color is this or something because its very annoying esspecialy if you feel rushed and click the wrong thing and get booted off and especialy with the new update words make it more difficult. (my weird opinion) |

ok, that aint happening... unless its basic colours, ill never roll ever again because i am colour blind :) , and if it is basic colours, you can make a roller see what hex code it is, and then click the approporiate box.. lol in a word no :) |

Title: Re: Crit Rolling Post by alone on 01/28/04 at 15:26:09 Even if it was colours.. And you were rushed, it's still close for clicking the wrong one... Oh, and I'm colour blind too, so no colours :P |

Title: Re: Crit Rolling Post by Ghost on 01/29/04 at 03:26:54 Thats really weird i am blue and purple color blind i didn't know there were so many out there but i understand that i think something more simple would help possible two options (not colors) maybe what number is this or something ... p.s. this is off topic but also i have noticed that if you double click on make tavern local then it cancels itself out just something |

You're female? Sorry... but only males can be color blind. Is there something your parents forgot to tell you? Note: Sorry, that's off topic.... the math is fine! Some nm players need to learn a little more math... it doesn't hurt. |

Title: Re: Crit Rolling Post by Akira on 01/30/04 at 06:34:45 There is a girl in my Economics class at school who is colour blind to both red and green, so there. |

Title: Re: Crit Rolling Post by Spekkio on 01/31/04 at 21:39:28 Learn about the Y chromosome, then tell me who doesn't need to go into the medical field! If you know a girl that is color blind... she/he might have had her/his, you know what, removed... but let's not go there. /t Deval the reason I thought she was two shes (that's confusing) is because seito ingame is a girl. Doesn't mean the player is a girl, or that I am saying that it's a girl... just that that is the reason I thought that. Topic: I stand with 'Nm players can use more math skills' |

Title: Re: Crit Rolling Post by Akira on 01/31/04 at 21:50:22 Red/green and blue color blindness appear to be located on at least two different gene locations. The majority of affected individuals are males. Females are carriers, but are not normally affected. This indicates that the X chromosome is one of the locations for color blindness. Male offspring of females who carry the altered gene have a 50-50 chance of being color-blind. The rare female that has red/green color blindness, or rarer still, blue color blindness, indicates there is an involvement of another gene. As of 2001, the location of this gene has not been identified. I don't claim to be a Biologist or to understand this, but from what you posted, your argument is that all colour blind females are actually male :P. Back to semi-on-topic discussion, the only problem with the roller is that sometimes when the maths questions appear you accidentally click the background, and not the actual numbers due to the location of the 'Reroll' button. This in turn registers as you clicking the wrong answer, and closes the roller. So basically, setting it so that only clicking the wrong answer will close it, rather than clicking anywhere but the right answer would save a lot of annoyance. (If this was done purposefully to stop auto-rolling, then disregard what I said, although it does get tiresome having to reload the roller everytime you happen to click too fast.) |

Title: Re: Crit Rolling Post by Oracle on 01/31/04 at 23:25:54 Last time I went to the optician, they said 7% of males in Britain are colour-blind and 0.01% of women. My main problem is distinguishing blue from purple but red/brown/green/orange give problems too. And yellow/creamy white/green. And you know the most annoying thing ever is when people start going 'what colour is that?'. So there you go... annoy me. |

And, I've answered 3 of the simplest questions and it closed out on me(I did have the right answers too.. if 9 minus 8 isn't 1, then I must have a serious problem). I've rolled by some good stats not realizing this untill now/ |

Title: Re: Crit Rolling Post by Jurian on 02/01/04 at 14:27:41 you know the test where you have all different color spelled out but the word have like different colors? like they spell white but it's written in red? and you have to name the color of the text? it's really annoying lol |
