Putting together items would be a nice addition i think.  Like fusing 2 mana crystals to get an advanced mana crystal (just an example).  Or 2 short swords to get a long sword.  Although i realize this would make somethings cheaper than they acually are. (mana + mana = 100 / Advanced mana =200)

But I'm just throwing around idea's.  I don't expect this to get anywhere.

Sounds good to me. And If the process of making pots/mana took say, 5 minutes, and you had to go pick it up from the shop later. I think it'd work out well. A lot of peoiple are too lazy to waste the time doing it...

Hmm, didn't think of that.  I surly wouldn't waste my time.  Wonder what 2 halberds would make. (maybe a great axe lol)

What about putting 3 mana crystals together to make one Advanced mana crystal. The same for Healing potions, and it will take up 4 stamina, No exp for making it, and i guess a mortar w/ pedestal.... and have a build limit of 10 for every 24hrs. for the use of mortar w/ pedestal

Not every class should be able to do this. Druids, possibly rangers.

Give it a rare chance to make something new that does something out of the 'Norm'

I don't even think it should be a class ability. Things get too complicated if it is. Druids, for example, could mix some items together (healing potions, that sort of thing) but not others (halberds, items they can't equip). Same goes with mages. That's why I think it would be better to have a 'shop' that mixes them for you.

I think paladins ,Clerics, and mages should be the "Alchemists"
Since they where the ones that mixed the Pots and made the Mana crystals back in  midevil times.. It Should cost Mana + the ingredients  To make your product. like

to make a mana crystal. 20mp + 2 basic mana crystals= 1 mc

For advanced mana crystal: 30mp + 3 mana crystal= 1amc

To make Healing Potion: 20mp + 2 basic healing potions.= 1 Hpt

To make Advance healing potion: 30mp+ 3 Hpts=1 Ahpt

to make special pots (like Jag pot) you need  40mp+ 3 advanced healing potions + a Herb, plant, seeds. ect.
