this is a very minor change, but yea.. i would like it if when you are in a clan, it said X [clan tag] Just logged on. instead of just X Just logged on. ... err yea.

I think I know what he means... He is saying that if you have someone on your friends list it will say 'X just logged on'. Since this confuses them because if that guy is in his clan(but doesn't know about it) and he is also on his friends list then he doesn't know which he is on. And because he doesn't want to do the /clan loc to see if he is on the clan or /friend to see if he is on his friends list.

So it might be useful to have something like this.....

Friends list
X just logged on.

Clan list
X (the one) just logged on.

Secondly... It's still of no real use. You should know who your friends are and if they are in your clan or not.

but there are some friends who puts you on your friends list and never in your clan and they make so many crits that you can't keep up

I know what he means.. And it's rediculous. Just type /clan loc to see if they're in clan or not. or do /who on them. Why are the people of nightmist getting so lazy?

There are no such things as clan tags by themselves. There are clan positions. Not all clans do the tag system, so it is kind of pointless.

It's fine the way it is now.

Hm, just thought of something..doesn't really have anything to do with the original topic but it's slightly related.

JLH, how about if someone logs on the same square as you it doesn't appear *3 ??

Like for instance, if someone is in your clan, on your friend list and just so happens to log on/off the same square it will appear

kinda pointless if they're on the same square.......

That was what i was meaning, in my opinion it takes up a lot of unneccesary space and when a whole bunch of alts log off it lags slow net connections. =) it was just a random idea anyways

how about since all the text chat and mesages are getting so confusing for people and has been to a dagree or other since I started playing, why not try and come up with a simple salution for chat that would be more universal and solve the problem of having a billion chats going at once... I'v mentioned this in the past perhaps its time for some one else to give it a try....
