I got bored and was thinking of this idea.

Basically it's a contest of brains and knowledge(sp?)
Each clan who wishes to particiapte(sp?) Submits a Map of there clan house and Say..10k gold fee to enter it. Then staff goes thru the clan houses and reads the descriptions of the clan house and decides which one is most thought of and well descripted. It's a contest of which clan house is overall well descripted/Laid out.The map of the clan house could be done in Paint perhaps?..Just a thought of putting a little fun into the game?

Sounds like a great idea to me :)

Just as a one off though.

What'd be the prize? Cash towards the clan?

The prize would be the 10k entry fee from the clans who submitted into the contest and the clan that wins gets the gold donated to there clan heh

i like the idea but with all the clans it might be a little to much for all the staff to go through all clan houses, so i suggest put a cap on the ammount of clans allowed to participate... maybe just the top 10

JP Only problem with that is that it's a CLAN contest not just the top 10..Plus how do we know EVERY clan will participiate?
All clans should be allowed to enter if they wish.

It's a nice idea vince. Alot of clans are done very well :) never seen a few but I've seen several interiors of clans as I've been invited on lower alts and given tours

i think u should have a clan spokes-person so that u talk in clan chat about the answer and say the chairman/woman should say the answer to the person whos running it.

No, the crying will being when a clan with bollocks descriptions and lay out wins. Make sure that doesn't happen and everything will be fine :)

If people are still stupid enough to think TR are given help and looked upon kinder, then maybe they're too stupid to realise there's even a contest on :D

Re-thinking the original plan, maybe two or three rooms should be submited, that way it's more a range of rooms, rather than just everything.

And tours given by a Founder/Chairman would also be a nice part of it, here what the room's about as you get taken through.

Twiztid talked to me about this earlier. How about we raise the entry to 50k per clan. Also, the clans must submit a map (something done in paint would be fine, I just need to know how to get around). We'd need to view the entire house because we'll take design into consideration.

50k Might be a little expensive for some clans IMO...That's the reason i said 10k.Looks like the majority of people like the idea.. :-*

What about a square requirement? It doesn't make sense that you would want to show off your hut, or grovel, or whatever it says on the list. I think a house should have 5-10 rooms before able to enter. This way there would actually be something to show off. And not just squares either. Some rooms should be in it as well.

Well, why don't you do this... Just to make everything fair and so that staff doesn't have to sit there all day checking out houses ::) Make it, first 15 Clans in, are in. A little like a Triplex. =)
