A friend made a suggestion about Buying pots/mana in shops. Instead of showing on your screen other people buying...Maybe make it so it don't show? It causes lag when there are a bunch of people in there. Post your thoughts.

i like this idea, but maybe if it were toggleable to you it would be ok.. its quite annoying when you see ppl say "I have no mana left to give you." "so_and_so just used something x 3"
but all in all yes i like this idea and support it :)

everything in the game doesn't need to be toggleable, this is a good idea because really what's the point in showing "xxx just bought something."x14

I also noticed this suggestion in CC.  He made a very good point in saying-
"They took out telling people that crits were hungry because it bothered people in large parties, but they still show me everytime a big group is with me and everyone buys pots."
or something basically the same as this.

I think the idea makes a good bit of sense.

it shoud just show "supreme just bought <amount> mana crystals" with amount increasing every time you buy something.

like if you buy 3 it sais
supreme just bought 1x (then 2x) (then 3X) mana crystal.

gah well basically the 1 just changes for every thing you buy in a certain amount. let's say if you buy the same thing within 2 secs again the thingy goes 1 number up.

Jurian has a good idea but seen as you can't buy 14 at once, how would the server know to tell the square how many you were going to buy?
I see what you are trying to suggest but it still means a new line would be sent every time you bought something and that would still cause the same problem. Afaik once a number is on your screen, you can't just have the server edit it, you have to paste it down again. I'm no expert though if someone confirms this?

Probably would be good to make it so you only see it yourself.

hmm you got a point there wed :P maybe make it so the line isn't shown until you either bought 14 pots or whatever or you didn't buy a new one for 1 second?

or make /buy 14 mana crystals a command and then you jsut get one line. jurian bought 14x mana crystals

Maybe a button in shops that says "Fill Inventory with AHP" or AMC

It fills every open space in your inventory and takes the correct amount of gold.  Then it would display the message Jurian suggested.  "Blah bought 14 Advanced Healing Potions"

i only want 13 mana or whatever each time i buy something sod rops go into my inven :D so that kinda doesn't work also cuz your inven isn't allways empty :D

It should show just the person what they bought. Who really cares what other people buy from shops anyway?

Also if it showed the figures every item bought it would be the exactly the same i.e.

XXX just bought 1 Mana Crystal.
XXX just bought 2 Mana Crystals.
XXX just bought 3 Mana Crystals.
XXX just bought 4 Mana Crystals.
XXX just bought 5 Mana Crystals.
XXX just bought 6 Mana Crystals.
XXX just bought 7 Mana Crystals.
XXX just bought 8 Mana Crystals.
XXX just bought 9 Mana Crystals.
XXX just bought 10 Mana Crystals.

i think .buy is gonna be a command. /buy <amount> mana

Something gives me the idea you didn't read his post.. lol. He said at the bottom its good what JLH has added (the text command) but it'd be useful if there was a button. Its quicker to click the button 14 times than it is to type it.

i saw that part but we allready figured out the thingy he gave an example of :D

and the problem is not the button but the message :D if the button stays it should be made something like
if pressed and not pressed again within a second it means person is done buy'n and message can be showed. if you click again within a second it will just add to the amount of things you bought. but it will not show the message untill you haven't clicked for a second :D if you get what i mean.

edit: so if you press the button 7 times withouth there beeing more then a second between the clicks it should just show "jurian bought 7x something"
