I thought of this idea last night so the "Kinks" aint fully worked out.....

How about a /Want command something like /Want Halberd/100000 .. You're money would be the MAX bid.. So when something goes up on the site that you want you get a memo.. Somethign like "Nater put a Halberd on the site for 100000" It would save a lot of time if did want to go all the way to the website every five minutes...

ANY SUPPORT?!

Good idea.. It might be more useful if it bought the item for you straight away. Like you do /want halberd/75000-100000, and then if a halberd goes on the site for 75-100k, it buys it off you straight away. It would need to take the max amount of cash your willing to pay before hand, and then give you the remaining cash after.

Not against the idea really, but it should have a timeout feature incase you stupidly type in say /want halberd/100-1000. Or an option to cancel.

You would also need to find a way in case there is more than 1 person with the same price range as to who gets to buy it first.

Ranger? I thought it was items only... But thats easily solved anyway. Just have it in order of who did the wanted thing first.

If is was to work that way it would be wayyyy to backed up. It would take about 5 months for the 50th person who want a halberd for 75-100k.

agreed, it couldn't really work. something i just thought up, when a particular item goes on sale, it could email anyone who is tracking that item, but then it occured to me, people would just keep putting it on and off causing a spamming of anyone tracking the item which probs wouldn't go down to well with my ISP.

The idea seems to get complicated. Why can't we just stick to the normal mode unless it's that challenging.
