Ok, i haven't actually thought of anything for it, but ive noticed Steel Bracers are the theives bog standard, even at arch. Does anyone out there want to be kind enough to think of an advanced bracer, or gauntlets or something that a thief can wear, say lvl 27+ ? becuz the bracers offer a nice 5 armor, but thats all, which is a pain really when you think about it.

only a suggestion, so no pregnant dogging about it please, and post some helpful ideas, i wanna see this one happen, cuz i own about 10 steel bracers, lol

Edit: I was actually thinking along the lines of Gauntlets that give around 10-12 armor, possible a metal coating of such, or some tough substance, Quartz? Diamond? Adamantium?

Alright, here's my two cents on this subject. I don't think it could be gauntlets, cuz gauntlets go on your hands, not your arms. And there's the Spider Gauntlets at level 27. Who can wear 2 pair of Gauntlets. I do agree that thieves kind get cheated on shields, but then again, it would get in the way. Kinda weird that a ranger can use a sheild and a bow at the same time though. So it's a give and take. But I hear thieves will be redone one day, so we'll see what they can come up with. In any case, that's my little tid bit here. It would be nice for a new item to go there though. Something better than a level 5 item. At Arch, it kinda is harsh to have that as the best you can get.

Well Bracers go on the bottom half of your arms, between elbow/wrist

ok, instead of Bracers or Gauntlets or whatever, how about Pauldrons?

For those who dont know what they are, on a suite of armor, the pauldron in the bit of armor covering your shoulder, and upper arm. ;)

I don't agree, bracers are fine. Asking for them to have something such as said 'Pauldrons' doesn't fit in with the image for a theif. One would expect that due to them being a theif, and their somewhat sneaky nature, they cannot afford to have heavy cumbersome chunks of metal attached to them as they duck, crawl, climb and sneak through the shadows.

who said they were big n bulky...only reason i got the idea for it were after playing another game, then changing every perspect of the armor name n everything, so its unique for nm. n the armor i took it from was specific for a thief only, it kinda looked like the black ninja stuff from blade 2 in the warehouse with the big fight.

but yeah, was just a suggestion

this actuly sounds like a pretty good idea its been a while since thiefs have been givin any new stuff..(as far as I can remember) don't think I even have a thief in my acount n e more... ???
