Costing 20k to place in the Clan House, could also be used around the Nightmist World.

Nice and simple:
/notice 1/We're having a vote on where to move the Clan House, memo the Chairman with your suggestion, out of: Windia, Rest Haven, Forest Path, Arilin.
/notice 2/The person who donates the most money in the next three days, wins a special prize.

These would then show up as follows:
/read board
You read the following messages from the Notice Board:
Notice One: We're having a vote on where to move the Clan House, memo the Chairman with your suggest, out of: Windia, Rest Haven, Forest Path, Arilin.
Notice Two: The person who donates the most money in the next three days, wins a special prize.

That's just an example of how it could be used in and around the Clan House.

How would that be different than a clan message? Exept it wold be harder because you would have to go to the clan house to see it.

This could be placed in a Leaders only vault/Breifing room.. Or it could be left in a Founders only room, therefore the information could be relating to them, or any specific group really.

It could also get used in an area, at a cross roads or as an alternative to Town Criers who just annoy people (most people anyways).

Other information could be displayed on them too, relating to new areas, rather than just a mumble in the place. Or, in fact, at each cross road in Clan Town, to help people find a specific clan house.

Sorry, i just realised i didn't write down what i meant to write down. It'd basicly be like an NPC, so it'd have a picture and name, so, even if you liked, you could /look board To read it.

But you have a valid point about the /read thing :P

thats what I was thinking when I read the first post u could do a npc posably have one at the enticne of the clan house... but on the down side dose nm realy need another npc?

another posable idea is to make it so other npc's say the mesage as well like town crier but only viewable by ur own clan oviously
