Just a thought for all us married people. Would be pretty cool if in the look over it can say "and the Wife of Tadpole or Husband of Kalypso". And to make it say that maybe add a command like /marriage (Name of person your married to) or something like that. Just a little thought (bored) lol

I actualy like this idea. and i think it could be inscribed in the wedding ring when bought that way when it put it on it says it and when you take it off it doesnt.

/marrige accept Ur_luv

Ingame message:

'Congratulation, you have married My_luv on the 01 01 2004'

(or something like that) now u have a marrige chat say: ^hello my luv

You could also go to a church whenever u like, u dont have to be married then and buy a special wedding ring for 10k, then u make.

/marrige wedding Ring My_luv I LOOOOVE U SO MUCH

then u get a 'My_luvs Wedding Ring' item with description I LOOOOOVE U SO MUCH. It can only be equiped by My_luv

All the names and stuff can be changed its just a basic idea for the system.

Anyways if u dont want to be married longer you make
/marrige stop (or something) and then whole thing is over and u cant longer equip that special ring. Could be 100k so ppl wont abuse it

EDIT: and if thats too little, and they will abuse it anyways then make the description like: A beutiful blah blah ring for his wife/husband (when making the ring /merrige wedding ring *My_luv* it will check what genger is he/she and put right husband or wife here) from (name of the person that made the ring).

so? I ll pay 100k and wont be able to marry anyone else, unless I ll stop that marrige and then the ring becomes useless if Id like to marry someone else. Taking that u can only marry one person on nm, idk.

No, its lame because when you look someone over how would you know how their married to? I don't agree with that bit, but the wedding system and putting a message on a ring seems ok.

Chris, I think this is a good idea for the game. It would add a more realistic feel to the game, and perhaps start a little RPing.

Actually instead of nodding our heads with every suggestion or lame ass post someone makes, we piss them off. And mostly with good arguments, and if i were starving for attention I'll just go see a friend  ::)

No it wouldn't. If anything its the opposite. People can't tell who your married too, just by looking at you. So how would it be realistic for people in NM to be able to?

Want to get real technical, nothing on this game matches reality. But I agree with the wedding idea as a whole. Sounds to me that you dont care for it cause it dont suit or benefit you.

Couldn't the custom rings be incorporated with the same idea of giving a nopc something and them giving you back something different?

Example:
A "Wedding Room" where only two people are allowed. The couple goes into the room. Gives the Nopc the ring and the nopc gives the ring back with "Person 1 & Person 2" that are on the square already.
