Title: Re: What Ever Hapend To The Throw Gold Idea? Post by Shane on 12/09/03 at 19:27:54 LoL I can see it now. After this feature is added someone will end up doing this: You threw a 1,000,000 gold at So-and-So. So-and-So picked up a 1,000,000 gold. And the compaints start. ::) |

Title: Re: What Ever Hapend To The Throw Gold Idea? Post by Hexagram on 12/09/03 at 21:20:53 About 100%. All they have to do is say they didn't understand the feature of the game and JLH will probably give it back. |

Title: Re: What Ever Hapend To The Throw Gold Idea? Post by Spekkio on 12/10/03 at 01:05:23 This is NOT needed, as you can purchase Money Orders for several different amounts. You CAN throw them! |

If you read, or at least quoted what I said properly I said "About 100%", therefore implying its not 100%, so its not definite that JLH would give back the gold. Now leave my posts alone and I won't have to keep replying because I realise how annoying it is. :) |

Would take alot of thinking to sort a new stat for every item to see how much damage it would do when thrown at someone and it would probably also need to be disabled for in town else people can't go afk anywhere... I don't see it happening. |

Title: Re: What Ever Hapend To The Throw Gold Idea? Post by Nemesis on 12/17/03 at 18:28:38 pretty good idea on the whole...it'd save people asking me to hold their gold while they take it off a paci and give it to another crit...silly sods, putting trust into me, lol... anyhow, why not set all items as 1 dmg? that way you could have fun out of town, n throw a bunny fur at ppl =P also it would solve the problem of setting different dmg based on dmg, otherwise throwing somit like a hally could be deadly....altho it could lead to a new weapon, a throwing knife, but there wud have to be a way that the item is deleted afterwards, either that, or its a special ability for a class, and one of their inventory slots is taken solely for the knifes (which btw, wouldnt disappear, or need topped up, kind of like the rangers arrows).... |

Title: Re: What Ever Hapend To The Throw Gold Idea? Post by Oracle on 12/17/03 at 22:07:44 On reading Nemises last post about the 1 damage out of time thing, made me think it would be intresting for a mosh. Attacking disabled and people going round throwing stuff at each other to win. Thats my kinda fun :D |
