Title: dodge Post by Jurian on 11/23/03 at 11:57:50 bla bla bla attacked you but you dodged the blow. you know the message. well i was thinking how can i dodge a blow if i have no stamina? my suggestion: if you have no stamina make the chance you dodge a blow smaller. could also be interesting in fights. it would mean that the person who gets the first round in doesn't ahve to be the winner. cuz the other person could hit him/her more often because of the above idea :D |

isn't that his job? well how about when you have 0 stam the chance you get hit increases by 10%? might even want to make it so that like 2 stam less then max = 2% more chance 3 stam less then max = 3% more chance 4 stam less then max = 5% more chance 5 stam less then max = 8% more chance no stam = 10% more chance something like that |

Title: Re: dodge Post by Gosu Alex Wild on 11/23/03 at 20:17:05 I think the percentage should be higher. Go up in 5%'s 2 Stam Less then max = 5% more chance 3 Stam Less then max = 10% more chance 4 Stam Less then max = 15% 5 Stam - 20% no Stam - 25% It is more realistically correct by the games terms, i think Jurians % is too low(sorry if it was a complete example and you didnt mean for them to be that low) |

Title: Re: dodge Post by Jurian on 11/23/03 at 20:45:23 yeah i was just suggesting lol i wasn't sure about how big the affect would be but they should increase like 3 7 12 18 23 28 something like that. |

Title: Re: dodge Post by Gosu Alex Wild on 11/23/03 at 21:28:18 How about they increase the same way a character gains Stamina? Like a Fighter Gains 2 Stam at level4? so make its first bad dodge thingy 4%? |

Title: Re: dodge Post by JLH on 11/24/03 at 02:28:41 something like this, would probs be based on con as that is technically the root of the stamina. pandilex and i have not decided if this topic will be approved or not yet |

Title: Re: dodge Post by Jurian on 11/24/03 at 08:51:29 hmm ok that's cool. but i was thinking that the moe exhausted you get (the less stamina you have) the easier it would be to get hit. so chances to hit would get bigger and bigger and therefore shouldn't increase with a set amount every time. |

Title: Re: dodge Post by Cule on 11/24/03 at 09:10:57 more radical chance would be that you ingrease the amount of stamina of all classes so that u have to choose wisely how to use them ... also new skills should be made so that the fight's would be more interesting. such skill's like: parry or somekind of counter attack ¨ also u could block the hit's that are hit to another creature with one of ur stamina .... :-/ |

Title: Re: dodge Post by Galatae on 11/24/03 at 19:22:06 I like the idea of using one stam to block a hit. |

Title: Re: dodge Post by Deval on 11/24/03 at 23:34:34 The two posts directly above me aside, the idea would fit well into what has become a somewhat drab and predictable battle system, and also gives fighters that edge that has been sought after for so long without overpowering them. This idea is mucho goodness. |
