keep it short . . .

Pirates are feared people . . . a pirate hat would give an aura of fear therfore knocking off charisma just like the Lightning Dragons tooth ammy does

knock 1 charisma off the hat?

The value is the +2 ac. Not everything is good and happy and fun. Besides, pirate hats are fugly. Tattered and patched up old cloth sure looks attractive.

Erm, as I said, thats some childs version of a Pirate Hat. I doubt any criminal thieves would go around in a hat like that.

Isn't a very good example, but that pirate hat doesn't exactly look 'tatty and ugly' (Although the examples just as good as Despair's)

Yes because we all fear the "This Image is hosted by Tripod" image....just give it a rest, I dont think theres a lot of ppl who dont know what a pirate hat looks like.

Seems to work.. anyway, that is a pirate wearing a pirates hat, and it looks nothing like the piece of crap Despair posted. Happy?

(And yes, its from a film, but at least it isnt some old fat man with a childrens hat on)

changing the charisma on this hat . . . leaves a space open for another hat or maybe a halo that adds no armor but adds 1 charisma . . . or maybe 1 armor but doesnt remove charisma

LMAO, I dont think any criminal thieves will go in a Pirates Hat, if u mean on nm, because that gives u to little armor.. and if u mean irl, then lmao, what thieves go in Pirate Hats, so everyone will look at them or what???

Well, Pirates attacked other ships to steal their cargo or whatever (so their thieves) also, because there thieves that makes them criminals.. get it?

2) My picture was made as a joke no need to be offended by it in anyway Zaknafein . . . I only posted it as an idea of how "I" see pirates . . . You don't agree fair enough but please don't turn this thread into an argument because I believe theres been some good points made here on the hat

While we're on the subject of Silversail stuff, i reckon there should be some kind of stat mods for the Bikini  ;D

If your crit is male, -2 charisma if you already have charisma lower than say 10.
-1 charisma for other male crits

If crit is female, -1 charisma if you are Ugly (below about 5 char i think), no change for 5-12 charisma.
+1 charisma for females with 12-20 charisma
And +2 charisma for a very sexy girl in a bikini  :D

My reasoning for this - a guy in a bikini is just WRONG, even a really sexy guy like me  :P

And an ugly female half-orc in a bikini....ewwww
