Title: Telnet Client Post by G Man on 10/10/03 at 17:10:44 How neat would it be to play the game through telnet? That way those of us who are sitting bored at work can get our nightmist fix without having to install anything on our work/school computers. |

Title: Re: Telnet Client Post by JLH on 10/10/03 at 18:27:49 not really possible, as you'd only have a text window, and wouldn't have extra support such as mouse and macros among other things. it was thought up a while back, but now it's been cancelled. |

Yeah, that's kind of what I was thinking... Just the game window. We could at least play using the commands that we can type in. Oh, well. Had to ask :) If I could only remember my fortran days, I'd offer to help... but I think I killed off those brain cells a few Budweisers ago... on 10/10/03 at 18:56:48, Consumed wrote:
I wish... The problem with my company's network is that they trace every executable file downloaded and every executable run. They don't give a crap about Telnet because so few people know how to use it. So even if I tried to run it from a disk here I'd probably lose my internet access or get fired. Real pleasant people I work with. They all expect me to work and stuff... |
