my friend plays a game called medievia or something like that and he told me about massive pk area's and it sounded pretty cool.

it's pretty simple actually.

When you die in these areas you will not only lose exp and gold and items in your inventory but you will also lose equipped items.
Ofcourse such an area has to ahev a strong boss that drops a really sweet item because it has to be worth the risk.

might be intersting to ahve areas like this cuz you got to think of items yourbringing to the area (take your cobalt or bot with you? wear your best armor and weapon and defend yourself against pk'ers or wear no armor and jsut an average weapon?)

just a thought :D

edit: might even make it a bit harder/interesting for lvl 30;s cuz getting stuff is one thing but now keeping it is a second :D

This Idea has merit. Make it one area then you dont want to die you just stay away from it. Want to play the pk with a risk go there. Maybe you and dagnapot could talk and make it work

I think it's a nice idea for those who like a risk and challenge. It would be restricted to that area only, so people who don't like it can just stay away from it.

why do I see an area full of arch zerkers with great axes....they have nothing to lose but a little exp...

The idea is a solution to the level 30 pking problem. Considering you don't have one, your opinion doesn't matter. Maybe we could make an area for journeymen with a boss, oh wait we have those... ::)

look i was planning on also designing this area so the monesters are also undead to combine it with a new paci area :D

and hmm i think i'm the only person with 3 arch zerkers (don't go elling at me if i'm not) but my point is there aren't many ppl who can go with groups of arch zerkers.

and this could be solve easyly by not allowing zerkers or something lol.

Now that wasn't TOO hard to solve now was it momba? I do personally think this would be a really good idea, maybe give me a reason to level my crits up to arch rather all my high levels getting deleted...

PK area, hmm....sounds good. However, as Jim pointed out he sees lots of Zerkers. I see 10 alts per computer being logged on.
Maybe going into this area you can only use 1 crit per account. Also I dont know if I like the idea of losing my questys. I'd probably use basic equip if I was ever to enter such a place.

that's the point lol if your too scared to lose stuff you don't go or go with cheap stuff :D and i thought this area should ahve a strong boss with a strong item or really special item (wsa thinking of a weapon with 30 bd and maybe sometimes a heal spell for mages (only works on themselves)?????) so that would kinda make the 1 alt per account kinda crappy,

but maybe not make it a zerker area. or maybe 1 alt of each class max?

That was possibly the most immature post I've EVER read... I dont have a lvl 30 so my opinion doesnt matter? Your kidding right? The only advantage a lvl 30 char has over a lvl 29 is more health... Big deal. I've got plenty of level 29's. So what, once again, exactly was your point....

Oh btw, It wasnt a solution to the lvl 30 PKING problem, but the lvl 30 problem all around, The boredom that sets in with a lvl 30 char *Which yes, I personally have never experienced*

Maybe next time try to be a tad more mature? We have enough bickering on the forums already, You dont need to add onto it.

What if this idea was put together with the suggestion from the following link.

It is the suggestion on death to pacifist. The boss could be the pacifist diety. I would think that if items were to be dropped that %'s be put in that would be realistic. You would drop a hally more often then a ring I would think.

And if this area is to be a super challenging area i would also suggest that by logging off at the boss square you would not be returned to your local. And once on that square you could not leave until the boss was killed. Just seems to me that if a person was about to die and didn`t want to take the risk with the current system they could just log/leave. Make it an all or nothing area.

Bean I don't think my comment was immature at all. If you look at it what does an arch zerker have to lose if he is using a great axe....a 10K item where as a fighter with just basic armor stands to lose 75K worth of armor...that is spiked, amulet and great axe.

What if this area as suggested did have an alt limit. I think an area with an alt is long overdue. One that would require an extreme amount of team work by many players. If the alt limit was put in you might want to concider a drop that could be shared by many.
