Title: /wall
Post by SullenUrchin on 09/19/03 at 03:04:31
it would be nice to be able to set walls on any direction even if there is a room or not I guess this could only be done with rooms with mumbles make it so if there is a mumble u can set a wall there ???

I have no idea what you are suggesting... Walls? If you can't go somewhere it tells you 'You cannot go that way'.

perhaps by wall he means "secret" passage?

wouldn't the wall block the mumble and block off the room completely? making it useless to even have the room. unless you wanted to remove the wall every time you wanted to enter the room?

Uhm... this thread is the biggest bunch of nonsense I have ever seen... wtf is going on in here? Everyone seems to be talking about different things!

Anyway, if by a wall you mean a 'secret passage', just dont put the direction you can go in the description, but set it so you can move that way.

He is talking about wall descriptions in clan houses. Currently you can do wall directions in a room for walls that aren't connected to another room, and he was wondering if it couldn't be changed to where you can set that description even if another room is there.

Basically hiding the fact that there is a mumbled room, so it would say "You unintelligent git just ran into a wall" instead of "enter the mumble key".

Maybe it's just me, but I think it's mostly pointless to hide a room that nobody can have access to... but, that would accually be fun, now that i think if it!  I like this idea now!

And then you forget that there is another room.

If you're stupid you do.  (And besides, if you accually need to have the wall say to enter the mumble key...  Just don't use this command...)

and besides that maybe instead of making it a /wall command u can do a /mumbleset mesage *blah* wich will change the mesage instead of complacating it with coding walls for mumbles

That seems a little more realistic.
