In other games that I have heard about, when you create your crit, you have an option... (it kinda splits the game in two though...)  You can either be allowed to Pk ppl, or be untouched by Pk'ers...  I think that this would be a good feature to add to this game.  please write back with what you think.  (I know that some people would hate this idea, but thats because you take joy in making other people mad... and that's not nice, now is it!)

This has been brought up alot in in alot of places and it always does the same thing Not alot. I like the idea of it when you first make the crit you get the choice pk no pk and it is left at that if you choose no pk you can never make that a pkable crit.

The reason this idea keeps getting thrown out is, because then people would just create non-pkable clerics to run along with their pk alts, becoming almost invincible.

The only way to do this, would be to completely create a non-pk copy of the same game and split the player base between the two, which would be twice as much work, twice as much staff, twice as much space used on the server.

Ahh, however... If you make it so that you cannot join a party with sombody that is set to Pk, then would it work?... because, you'd have to move slowly if you were to have the cleric following the Pk'er...     ;)   (Just like how Pacifists can't join groups...)  

However, the problem there is that it would probobly have to be scripted so that for each class, there would be a double one that coulden't Pk, or be Pk'ed...

Dual servers could be set up, it's likely to be tremendously expensive. But one could set the servers to be identicle, just with one of them completely non-PK. Funny thing is, I'd bet that if it were released, there would be an initial rush, but then after an extremely short time, each and every single player would come back to the pk server, leaving the anti pk server as an empty waste of time and money.

Accually, I'd love a server that's just for non-pk ppl like me...

I'd play more than I do now, and I don't think that's very posible...

I notice that mostly only the new players (or players without alot of wealth/ crits atm) are the ones wanting this 'no-pk' thingie.. I think you guys should just get with the program.. work hard when you can.. learn how to run and hide when someone tries to kill you.. then eventually gain enough wealth and experience in the game to rival most other players.. then you all may join the wondrous power hungry struggle that is nightmist..  ;D

yeah think that's true i'm not a massive pk'er but now í got little bit of power i pk more then i did before :D

Or just not allow non-pk crits to be logged on and the same time as normal ones, and vica-versa, a bit like pacifists. Also shouldn't be allowed to join pkers partys. (Because friends and clannies would be non pk with a cleric or something.)  :-/

Oh yeah, i like this idea, and i'm not a new player.  :P

I have been playing for about a year now, and I'm at the point where I got some money, but not much, and I can run if they don't kill me in one round... But I'm still agenst Pk'ers, because no matter what lvl you are, sombody out there can take you like nothing  >:(

I like that idea too:  About not being able to log onto the, Pk'ing crits or party with them  (Because you could just hunt with a friend in your party that's non-Pkable, and 'own' ppl like that)

imo . . . you take the danger of getting killed out of the game and you take all the fun out of it . . . .

Plus its annoying enough that you can't kill pacifists or crits with a 10 level difference from you . . .

dying and killing is part of the game take that away and your left with a game full of pacifists  :-/

(And yes I know I know that not everyone would choose to go nopk but then again Im sure a lot of people would train crits up to go to bosses etc. to manipulate the system)

I think most people who download this game and start playing know beforehand what they are facing, then play for a while and suddenly want to change the pk aspect.

Granted, when I started playing, it ticked me off a lot to get killed, but eventually you will manage to build your crit up to a lvl where you can defend yourself. Constant comparing to other games is useless. If you like those games better, why are you playing NM?

As I said before... I have been playing this game for a while, and I still hate the idea of Pk'ers... or atleast that I can't do anything about it, and still be a part of my clan... now, if my Pacifist could get into a clan! I'd not "Complaine" anymore...

I agree its pretty much poinltess to do tihs due to the fact that it would just cause more problems then its worth and the hole issue with ppl using them to become invisable well thats why paci are the way they are now becuse ppl would just abuse it like every thing else they can  ;D

I hate Pker's too... but I'd keep it in to an extent... they should have it so that only ppl of a certain title could kill people of the same title... I know that Arcs can sometimes lose to Masters so just make it so Masters could fight Arcs too and vise versa becuase Master is in their name...

Pkers only kill weaker ppl because they can't fight ppl their lv and they know it... if i were lv30 im not gonna kill lv20s for no stupid reason.... its stupid (no offense, but i hate ppl like that, its like if someones being annoying in real life, in this game you can't do crap about it however...).

You new members are already spoiled when it comes to the whole nopking thing. Back when i was a lil guy lvl 30s could pk lvl 1's..there was no..1-5 cant attack people...plus having to be within 10 lvls of the person yer trying to pk, all i have to say is just go with it...it used to be worse

Most of the pkers I know don't even bother looking someone over, they just click, whether it's a lvl 20, lvl 30 or a pacifist.

Not a single one of them sorts out lower lvl crits and kills only them, they kill, or at least try to, whatever crosses their path and isn't green.

lol... seems like some of them rounded themselves often enough now to look first.

I know a few who still don't though... a certain person who owns a christmas blade has attacked my paci at least 4 times now, and then won't even sit still so I can heal him...

i realise imma lil late on this subject lol but just like pimp said i remember when there was no lvl 10 rule and lvl 30 would kill lvl 5's all the time but i like to think imma better player because of the pk'er i mean they made me learn the map and made me stay on my heel

That is true, but they hold their swords when they see sombody that they know  is able to take them... and after about 5 days of being that high of a lvl, you know who can take you, and who can not (most of the time.)

(Not when their invisable, and you have dial-up... they take you in one round too... that Sux!)  I know the maps of where I hunt, and I stay on my heels...

Lol, Just go where the pkers have trouble managing large groups. Or places where other people ARENT AT.

If you dont meet any people while training, chances are you will rarely meet a pker, and by the time you do, you'll be able to outrun them because you know the area so well  ;D

Yea, but back then, I know there were less Pk'ers running around, and meny less Archmasters.

Umm... no, if you dumbasp's would just listen to what I have said before, and not REPEATE yourselves, I woulden't have to tell you that I ALREADY DO THIS!  and i still get (in the words on Scean Clancy) 'Raped' every time that I run into a Pk'er that has either more ppl than me, or are just blainently stonger than I am.  (JLH... can't you do somthing so that ppl HAVE to read what is back in the text... because I'd realy like to not have to handle these NooBs... that claim to be great at the game...  ty, I've said my part.)

For god sakes man give yourself a shake.

First....My comments were not directed at you, so drop the 'Im smarter than you, because I can spell swear words' facade(I always wondered if that was spelled with an S, or a c....).

SECOND, use the god d**ned modify button, it was put there  for a purpose. Its much cleaner if you spout all your bullnuts in one post.

Third, If you dont stop complaining about pkers, your just gonna be pked even more. Just drop it, leave it alone, and play the God d**ned game... PKing is a part of the game, thats it, end of story, bye bye, have a nice day.

Oh by the way, most of my characters have been pked like.... 3-4 times while I've been logged on them... So go figure, maybe I know what Im talking about.

And for all those who will hunt down all my crits, and /who them. I share with two of my best friends... One is slightly.... less gifted at the game than us other two... He loves raking in those pk'd by stats.

Yea know... I would, but then i don't even get to be in a clan... what the hell is up with that!  What would being in a clan do for me besides a free healing at a sauna, and a bit of conversation... I would shut up, and fade back into a dark room, if only I could not be Pk'ed, while still being a part of my favorite clan.  (However, seeing that the sysop's thought up that totally homosexual rule of not being in a clan with a pacifist, I'd rather just sit and complaine about geting my asp handed to me all the d**n time because it pis' the hell outta me!)
