I think that goblins are a great creature for any new players. Since they are only used in the arena, they don't get the respect they deserve. They should have their own area, like a forest. Just put a little eastward extension on the worn path and make a different forest roaming with goblins, and maybe throw in a few goblin cheiftans. I think that would be great.

Check around the game. You just might find them in another area ;)

if there is an area totally and utterly devoted to goblins that is within easy access of nightmist for new players, it is news to me. mind telling me where this magic place is?

Well that would take all the fun of exploring the game out of it. I will tell you this.
1) That it is a level restricted area(level 25 and under).
2) Only 2 classes can enter the area.
3) And if my informants are correct and you hurry you can be the first to get the boss drop in this area...
