It was brought up this evening (by Pity) that clan leaders should be able to do clan tags. A lot of times, there aren't founders on to do it.

Clan positions aren't always for tags. Therefore this brings up abuse situations in clans that don't use tags, or even clans that do. What if nobody was on in TR (very slim chance, but it could happen) and a leader logs on and decides to mess around with tags? Nobody would know who did it and there would be a bunch of mixups. Suggesting a memo for whoever changed the tag is ridiculous. It happens so frequently in most clans that it would just be spam.

Don't see a problem with it. The only advantage a leader really has.. is inviting people. Woo-friggin-hoo.

I can see the whole chaos of the messing with the tags.. but, I'd think it'd be more important if Leaders could do them also.

I think it would work judging from TR, but I'm unsure how other clans would fare such as those who appoint random leaders. They might take advantage of the system and then we'll see more moaning about removing it.

Maybe a command that only a Chairperson can use that would give certain trusted leaders the power to do tags, but still not be a founder?

if someone is going to make a random leader in a clan then that would be their fault... this would just show people that you need to trust who you invite to your clan/promote to leader status

I dont see where it would hurt at all...some leader could be bad and invite someone that wasnt suppose to be in clan and give them a tag of someone in clan (themselves or something) and then there would be a spy in clan...but i guess people should have to pay more attention to who they appoint in clans...devout doesnt have many members that they allow to be come leaders...i was in for atleast 2 months (im thinking it was a whole lot longer than that) before i was in the voting to become one...

I personly think this is a great Idea and don't let those who abuse every power they get rune it for others and besides abuse gose on now and the complaning won't stop no mater what u add/remove so yea! lets have it plz :P
