Here's a lil something for you people insisitng that you are the best, Why not put on all character's Profiles the rank of the Account they are currently stored under? This would hide account names of course to prevent theft.

It would certainly help bragging.  ;D What do you guys think?

That wouldn't show anything. Some people prefer having loads of mods and rares instead of crits..

it would just say something like

account rank: 1/721.

something like that ;D

edit: made my rank go from 5 to 1 cuz sausage thought it was funny i was ranked 5 :D

I agree with this idea, would be kinda cool. Problem is that the people who have large numbers of archies with crap stats woud pass those with few archies but good stats.

don't forget about many archies withouth equip lol would pass ppl with massive equip and not as much archies :D

50 level 5s would give you a nuts score lmao. Anyway, from what I've seen items make next to no difference, therefore people like proteus would get ranked quite low.

What I want to know is, what will this be based on? Amount of characters, amount of Archmasters, gold, whatever. It sounds like a good idea, but you should follow up by saying HOW to rank it. It would give us a better idea.

Yes, but as I originally stated, The account name would not be shown, it would only be a little bit of information added to your profile along the lines of:

Account Ranking: x/xxx

i am not in agreement with this idea due to the fact that it could be used to work out players alts (unless they have multiple accounts, but that defeats the whole purpose of the idea).

I agree with JLH for the exact reasons JLH used.  Also cause I don't really like the idea, or see the point in adding it.

and because 3 lvl 10's give the same amount of points as a lvl 30, so the rank wouldnt mean anything.

If they do than that's pretty stupid, as three level 10s aren't as good as a level 30, or worth as much (If all the crits have the same stats)

I'm just wondering what this ranking system would prove, because it's surely no proof for who is the best player, if all you have to do is roll a bazillion new alts.
