Title: Maximum level point. Post by Issy on 07/07/03 at 01:37:34 I was leveling my little clerics in the museum the other day, and i leveled to maximum for that level. And for my clerics it said "You feel strong enough to advance to the next level." After thinking that didn't seem right for a bit, i thought (if this has already been brought up, please forgive me.) that maybe diffrent classes should say diffrent things upon the "maximum level." IE. Clerics: You feel holy enough to advance to the next level. Fighters: You feel strong enough to advance to the next level. Thieves: You feel sly enough to advance to the next level. Berserkers: You feel strong ehough to advance to the next level. Mage: You feel wise enough to advance to the next level. Paladins: You feel holy enough to advance to the next level. Druids: You feel wild enough to advance to the next level. Rangers: You feel resourceful enough to advance to the next level. I may have missed a class, but it gives a general idea! Isaiah |

Title: Re: Maximum level point. Post by Defcon on 07/07/03 at 01:46:34 thnk its better than the one we have cause it breaks the classes for a bit more distinction |

Title: Re: Maximum level point. Post by Stotic on 07/07/03 at 02:10:31 Strong does not automatically translate to strength. A person can be strong in their wisdom, strong emotionally, etc. Strong seems to be the perferct word for all classes. The ones you listed were kinda cheesy. How exactly do you become more holy? You can become stronger in your faith, but becoming holier (is that a word?) is pushing it. Overall does the current system suck that much? Strength is not all muscle. |

Title: Re: Maximum level point. Post by Issy on 07/07/03 at 02:20:49 When someone says strong, the first thing that comes to mind is strength. As clerics are a holy race they can grow in faith in all essence become "holier" (i don't really know if that is the correct spelling to the word, but it works ;).) It would bring a new look to the game instead of the traditional "You feel strong enough to advance to the next level" Just a thought. Isaiah. |

Title: Re: Maximum level point. Post by Issy on 07/07/03 at 02:21:52 or maybe, instead of saying "holy" you could say "You feel faithful enough to advance to the next level." |

Title: Re: Maximum level point. Post by Bean on 07/08/03 at 02:30:08 Cleric-Your god beckons you to pray for more wisdom, and strength. Ranger-As you let loose your arrow you realize, it is time to advance. *Not too great. :-/* Thieves-Your instinct tells you it is time to challenge your wit, and cunning. Paladins-*same as cleric OR* Your holy blade glows with the power of the gods, It is time for prayer. *prayer=level* Fighters-As you flex your muscles, you notice a renewed strength in them. Time for training. Berzerkers-The berserker spirit within you howls with fury, You must learn to control it. Meh... Thier not that good... Im sure I could do better. Its a start :-/ Edit:Mage is the very first one I posted on this topic, until i can think of another. |

Title: Re: Maximum level point. Post by Medora on 07/08/03 at 05:13:09 Only problem I see is that if you dont add 'to advance to the next level' a new player will have no idea what the line that just went across their screen means. |
