As of late we have saw alot of threads get locked because 1 or more persons feel the need to lose sight of the topic, trash other players or just be plain stupid. As I have noticed it is usually the same folks over and over.
Why not just start banning forum account just as crits are banned. It's pretty simple I would imagine. It would also give folks a chance to give thier view on topics and not have 7 thread for the same thing with 6 of them being locked cause some fool(s) decided it would be fun to act up.
I see it as being pretty simple. Staff at the moment seem to be doing a large amount of monitoring of these boards. If they find that a comment is not related to the topic or very offensive they simply delete the post sending the person a message stating that the post has been deleted and that the next time thier forum account will be banned. If they do it again ban them. And as with all bans if they don`t like it do a /who on staff and email em.

Whats the purpose of banning forum names anyway, i mean like can they never again make another one or what happens?

i dont know if it will just ban the account but then they can make another account? i use 4 different computers to log onto the forum at times so i cant see how banning could work. maybe using the same email adress as your character online in the game should be a must and then if anyone abuses the forum day ban them on the game??

I wish we could ban Forum Accounts. Then we could get that little pain in the ass Ste/Gwerradon out of here.

Halor forum account was banned for insulting Pandilex..

All I said was something to the extent of,

"Pandilex you work on nightmist? I diddnt know making a new class and slapping rapid fire and assassinate on them was considered work!"

They will, and do ban forum acconts.. For very silly things.

Yeah, well, there needs to be a way where they're permanately banned from forum.. so, we're not bothered with their annoyance or bullcrap.

Trust me, there is no way to perm ban from game or forum. There is a way to get out of nearly any ban on game except name ban (thats server side). Forum bans you can just delete your cookies and make a new account name.

Ahh, well, then I guess when it annoys us.. we'll just refrain from replying to the threads.. as it'll more than likely be a continuous act. I don't read every single thread there is anyways.. when I come across an interesting topic.. then I look at it. All you ever see anymore on forums are a bunch of immature kids.. acting as if they're better than everyone else. It's sad.. that these people come on here.. then decide they're going to try and ruin everyone else's fun.
