Title: Stackable commands
Post by Despair on 06/02/03 at 02:41:16
Before I go on sorry if this has already been brought up if so please ignore this post and let it die ...

I think it would make a nice addition to be able to stack commands ie:

/join player/dnd training

that way you can join a party and set up your afk/dnd message all in 1 line

... tell me what you think

hmm not i don't c the need for it lol :D all it changes is that you have to press enter twice now (one after each command) and with this idea you just need to press it once. If that's too hard for you maybe you should try working out in the gym a little more :D

This idea would be abused if added.

If you were able to link commands to one line, you would also be able to perform multiple actions in 1 macros command.

For instance using 1 macros button I could continuously attempt to attack every single person in the mosh arena.

And using a different button I could heal my entire party.

In summary, interesting idea - but would make playing the game far too easy.

i.e. traveling from nm to bt in a matter of seconds

My reasoning behind the idea was . . .

Last night when training I was on several alts and I wanted them all to join party and go Dnd. So I cut and pasted /join player and copied it into each crits box (11 in total) then did the same with Dnd . . .

Thats how I got the idea because I just thought it would be easier to do it all in 1 line . . .

But I see how this would be abused heavily now, thanks for responses I guess its not such a practial idea after all lol  :-/

Set macros...goes quicker, good thought though. But as Ste said it would get out of hand.

Can't be done, and won't be done... Some commands use / in them such as cast x/y and therefore there would be no way of knowing where to split the command...

Either way it is pointless so it will not be added.
