Would it be great to have a night sometimes instead of day all the time. I think it would bring new and exciting feature to the game .....for example those shady areas would ingrease giving the thieves greater "power" at nights as in real life and perhaps growing undead amount at nights.....torches would "eliminate" shady areas if one is brought to one ..... and if u think about it ...it brings many other features other than those.
Write and tell...  8)

sounds nice :d and maybe you could add in seasons and weather too? like more wind makes it harder to fight for rangers or something :D

the game is technically already capable of doing this if the area developers wanted to use it.

can't you make it for the entire map instead of jsut a few areas? that's like england got night but holland is still having day :D

Yeah, it's a good idea.
The only problem with this is people in differant time zones, like if thieves get advantages at night, what about people who can only play during the game times (GMT) day, and vice versa, they couldn't take advantage of the thieves night time bonus.
But if it wasnt run off the server time, if it changed alot more frequently, then it would be a great addition to the game.

i'm more thinking in the way of like one area has night and the other has day which are developed by two diff staffers but are connected to eachother. like grassymeadow has day and arilin and it's forest have night. something like that. would kinda be strange.

may i suggest 4 hours day and 4 hours night? 30 mins is a lil short.

Yeah i think 30mins is too short aswell, by the time the thief gets himself sorted out it will be day again hehe.  4 hours sounds good.

would it be great to have monsters that u can only see at nights...or items that work only at nights ( or work better at nights ) ?
And druids can morph into werewolves at nights ( or something )  ::)
