Title: Portal Post by Epic on 05/09/03 at 21:28:21 I know most of you never played before the "big reset" but along time ago in your clan houses there were portals that you could click and it would bring you to a towns pub..(northkeep, cloud city nightmist ect...) erm...(nightmist, resthaven...)and whatever else....i know portals dont fit in the time of this game to much...but neither do elevators *shrugs* just a suggestion |

Title: Re: Portal Post by Gwerradon on 05/10/03 at 19:43:55 Epic, i can see by most of your posts that you want to bring back all the old stuff..... i recommend playing Deity, as its similar to the old nightmist in a few ways. otherwise, get used to the fact that nightmist has, and will keep improving, and getting more advanced each update. |

Title: Re: Portal Post by Epic on 05/11/03 at 00:02:15 Adding old things would still improve the game..its not like they would make the game worse at all.....and having portals were nice so you didnt have to run around all over the place and its especially a pain when its all laggy and your trying to run around with 6 crits, i dno tho...theres alot of items from the old nightmist that were badass and as far as the whole portal thing goes...if you use them and dont explore thats your own fault/problem right?.. just throwin out suggestions |

JLH probably wants to be able to add frequently visited areas to the teleportation list on the portals, thus 'custom'izing them. Heh. Bill, perhaps he meant portals that goto a certain place that cant be accessed via walking. (to bill) Gateway on feudal online is an ability which can be casted by any class, this takes you back to the nearest tavern/town. it will cost alot of mana though so its not abused too easily. just thought u might like to know that :P |

What i find unusual however is how 2 of the major town areas (RH, BT/Sarka/Dendeya) are totally unconnected to the world map xept via sewers... What happened... did they build nm and arilin, then while building the sewerage system the builders suddenly have a brainwave, mined straight up and founded a new city? Then decided it was a good idea and did it again? |
