Ok I guess this post is more towards Pandilex since he does the class ballancing. I would like to address the topic of the Vortex Gate. I've noticed that it is getting increasingly more and more useless. There are very few places to use it the main 2 being south of the Crystal Giant and then at the maze in the desert for lvling up to 30. There used to be a second gate in the Desert that was south of the entrance to the ancient caves but it seems to have been removed or relocated since JLH changed the areas. The other gates that i am aware of is the one in NightMist magic shop that takes you to buy the Scroll of Vortex gate for 4500gp rather than the 5000gp in the mage guild, one in the desecrated church wich is ridiculous since thats a lvl 15 area and the Vortex Gate is a lvl 20 spell. Theres one in the Spider Caves in Elshiras lair, and at the southern NM gatehouse. Those are all i can recall off hand, but i remember when Vortex Gates use to be a two way usable spell where you could go to and from places and they used to be worth something. Now you can only from an area to a town, and the areas that the gates can be used are for the most part areas where you can just log off and appear in your local. I would like to suggest that the vortex gate be changed to being able to cast from anywhere outside a town and deposit a player in a random town, and the spell would cost somewhere in the neighborhood of 300mp, and that the spell be available for mages at lvl 25. Mages are hard as heck to train, in my opinion the hardest class, i'm proud to own one and to say that with some seriously hard work i've gotten him to lvl 26. Pandilex i dont know if you have Mages as the next class to balanced or changed but it seems its the only class that hasnt been changed yet. If you dont like my suggestion i would like to ask you to please review the mages and make some changes if you can. I'm just saddened that i have a spell that pretty much is not usuable anywhere but silly places unless i'm going to lvl up to 30. Thanks for reading this post.

There is also one located in the mountains of sentant.
But I agree vortex gate is basically useless.

and you need vortex to lvl your mage to lvl 30 :D
