I think there should be an option to stop 'xxxx is hungry/thirsty' appearing that message does nothing but annoy you. When im in desert i want the text box to say useful messages like 'the scorpion hit your cleric for 80 damage' or 'FuFu tried to assassinate you but failed' Hunger has almost no effect on your crits unless you are afk, losing 3 hp each round to hunger thirst and poison is nothing compared to the 80-odd a scorpion or the 250-odd that FuFu can do.

If your wondering why FuFu appears so much, its coz a while back i was training in jahanna then FuFu and kalypso's other thief (cant remember name) tried to assassinate me, and they got 4 hits in before i realised coz i had 6 crits on and the hunger message scrolled the attack messages off the screen. I only realised i was getting hit when a death message appeared and i thought 'whos that just dying... omg its ME!!'

I have to agree the hungar/thirst thing is annoying and not to mention depending on the lag and how many crits are hungry/thirsty.. it ends up lagging me even more when it scrolls by.

look i have had 12 crits be hungry and thirsty at the same time and it's really annoying. My opinion is remove hunger/thirst or make it do some damage like 10 damage a time.

cuz this way it's just annoying. it's not like it's gonna kill you or soemthing. a lvl 30 zerker can be hungry for a long long time :d so make it do more damage or just remove it.

for real ever seen a whole party at cg all hungry it causes like the greatest lag in the world lol maybe it should come out bright red once saying "You are now hungy" or someting :P

My suggestion would be to only let the crit who actually is hungry see the message instead of everyone who is on the square. That way you get your little reminders that you may want to eat something at some point, and the rest of the party doesn't have to hear your stomach growl and deal with the lag it causes.

maybe your HP meter can change colors? half blue if your thirsty? green if your posioned?Red if your hungry? maybe white if your normal....?

That means more lag, but it's not a bad idea.

Removing that hunger/thirst thingy is good, specially if don't have a druid in your party.
