Did i miss something?

Are you suggesting these as new items? If so, shouldn't you really write a description, and shouldn't this be in the development section? :-/

I think a Silver sword or bowgun would be more appropriate

If new weapons are put in, give them clear bonus' abd disadvantages, to hlp create a little more diversity in the nightmist community.

Actually, Deval, silver hurts werewolves, not vampires. And why would there need to be a weapon against vampires, all 1 of them. And tough luck getting Angel out of Boars Tusk to use it.

I've read speculations that the idea of burning vampires with a cross came about because it was thought that the silver in the jewelry caused the pain, not the shape of the cross itself. As most crucifix jewelry was made from silver, the story evolved into using a cross as a deterrant, rather than the metal.

Mythology and Lore was a fun class. :)

Edited because my fingers type faster than my brain can form coherant sentences.

Nothing hurts vampires, as they are not true, but in films/books whatever Silver is the most deadly thing.

garlic doesnt hurt vampires, holy items do not hurt vampires, silver does not hurt vampires...sunlight can kill a vampire easily though

It isn't as such the item that hurts the vampire, its the 'holyness' of it. Ever played D & D? When you try to turn a vampire, you would hold up your holy symbol (Having a silver one is better I think, not sure though) and if you roll high enough, the monster is turned. Another thing, some vampires in D & D can only be killed with silver weapons, or very powerful weapons (+3 or whatever).

All very good names for weapons, those spelled correctly anyways, but naming a weapon is the easy part.  Writing good descriptions that can make one "see" the weapon is where the difficulty is.  It also takes some doing making the stats for the weapon and balancing them out so it is balanced in game properly.

Where do you get your info from? I expect that D & D is better, judging by your posts.
